Kunming Changshui International Airport was officially put into use on Jun.28, 2012 which is the fourth largest national gate hub airports after Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Since the operation of airport, because Southeast Asian Airlines competed to join, the capacity of the airport reaches saturation rapidly. The passenger flow volume also approaches the design capacity as it was opened. According to statistics, the airport ensured 269,000 flights, 32.23 million passenger throughputs, 317,000 tons goods throughput in 2014.

In order to improve the situation of inadequate gate positions, with the CAAC approval, the airport had to start the second phase project in advance no later than three years since it was opened.

The second phase project started in 2015, except for expansion of airport aprons, a new T2 terminal and 40 parking bays, the third runway is projected to start construction in 2016. The expansion project is planned to finish before 2020, the airport will satisfy the operation of 80 million passengers per year.

Duo to the outstanding performance of our products in the first phase project, the airport directly assigned to use Airsafe products. We will provide about 2000 sets of In-pavement approach centerline light、runway touchdown zone light and taxiway center-line light as well as our newly developed solar energy unserviceable area lights.

As the complicated technology and non-suspend air construction as well as the requirement of airport security operation, we actively cooperate with the customer and the contractor to provide new equipment with adjustable joint ring so as to meet the requirement of non-suspend air construction Airsafe was welcomed by the contractor.

We will fully cooperate with the airport along with the contractor in order to complete the airport expansion in time.
