Itwas learned from Yunnan Airport Group, CAAC recently formally approved that itis agreed to give the new airport for Lugu Lake “NINGLANG LUGUHU AIRPORT”.According to plan, the Luguhu airport will be open to air traffic at the end ofthis year.

LuguhuAirport is positioned as domestic feeder airport constructing as per 4Cstandard. It can handle Boeing 737 following models. The designed mid-termpassenger throughput is 450,000 per annual as well as 900 tons cargothroughput. There will be a 5000m² terminal, an apron with 4 parkingbays, a 3250m² parking lot, a 210m² cargo terminal and a600m² air traffic control building with auxiliary ATM facilities,supply of power, oil, heating, oxygen, fire rescue and other production andliving facilities.

Theoverall construction of Luguhu airport started on 24^th. April 2013,the construction unit plans to finish all engineering project constructionrelated to flight check, in order to make sure open of the airport on 1^st.October 2015. Flights check is scheduled to complete in the end of July andindustry acceptance will be done in August.
