The total investment of Guangzhou Baiyun Intl. Airport Project is over $18.854 billion. After the project is finished, the annual passenger throughput will reach 80 million while the cargo throughput will be 2500000 tons with 620000 air sorties movement. |

Guangzhou Baiyun Intl. Airport is a main civil international airport in Guangzhou, the third
largest city in China. It is also one of three biggest airports nationally. The airport officially
started operation on 5. August, 2014, which is 28 kilometres (17 mi) north of downtown by
straight-line distance. It is the main hub of several Chinese airlines.
