A Group Tour to Cambodia in February 2017
\

With joint efforts of all staff, AIRSAFE has got better performance and employed a unique status in this industry with its excellent products and services. At the beginning of 2017, the leader decided to organize the whole staff to travel to Cambodia. It is a reward for us growing with the Company and achieving remarkable performance and also a good opportunity for us to understand each other.

In order to have a better experience, we entrusted a professional travel agency to make a plan of “6-day visit to Cambodia”. The whole staffs were divided into two teams departing on February 14 and 21 respectively. At 16:00 on February 14, the first team gathered at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and arrived after a 4-hour flight at the local time 22:00 in Siem Reap, where Angkor, one of seven wonders in the world is located. Although it was at night, nobody was tired because of the subtropical monsoon climate and charm of the small Southeast Asian city. Led by the local guide, we checked in at the hotel to make preparations for the following journey.

When it was still cold in winter in Shanghai, we were warmly welcomed by Siem Reap in the morning sun. After having breakfast at the hotel, guided by the local Chinese guide, we gladly visited this time-honored city, where Khmer Empire was developed, to experience different historical and cultural customs. Angkor Wat is an immortal ancient cultural relic when the Angkor Empire was in its flourishing period, and is honored as “Engraved Heaven” in the archaeology circle.

On the first day, we visited Angkor Thom, Bayon, Elephant Terrace, Twelve Zodiac Tower, Ta Prohm, Luo Luoshi group and Bakong. Angkor Thom is a capital relic of Angkor Empire. We marveled at the perfect integration of majesty of the city and scared religion. Meanwhile, we also acclaimed for the exquisite anaglyphy finely presented by the Indian myth and daily life of Khmers. On the second day, we visited Banteay Seri and Angkor Wat. “Shiva”, one of three key lords of the Brahmanism is worshiped in Banteay Seri. Because the stone used for constructing this ancient temple has the beautiful vermilion and the carving craftsmanship of the mural of this temple is the most exquisite along all Angkor historical sites, Banteay Seri is honored as “Diamond of Angkor Art”. On the following two days, we visited Beng Mealea to explore the undiscovered former Angkor; we had a panoramic view of Angkor in the Bakheng sunset; Phnom Kulen Nation Park is the headstream of Siem Reap River and also a Holy Land that Cambodians visit in their lifetime; we also experienced the unique waterside lifestyle of Khmers in Tonlé Sap.

This travel has enhanced understanding and trust among colleagues and strengthened team cohesion of AIRSAFE. Although the short trip has come to an end, the story between us and AIRSAFE is to be continued.
