Singapore Changi Airport

Changi is one of Asia's busiest air hubs. In 2025 it handled 69.98 million passengers and 2.08 million tonnes of cargo, with about 100 airlines serving some 170 destinations in close to 50 countries and territories. All three runways are 4,000 m long; two carry day-to-day commercial and freighter operations. The airport has close to 190 aircraft stands, more than 110 of them served by air bridges.

Deliveries since 2010

In December 2010 Airsafe re-signed the taxiway guidance signs at Seletar Airport, also operated by Changi Airport Group — around 80 sets. In September 2019 the Changi taxiway resurfacing project used Airsafe LED inset taxiway lights and taxiway guidance signs, 1,118 sets in total. A further 990 sets of LED taxiway lights followed in 2022.

Why Airsafe

• The LED inset taxiway lights and taxiway guidance signs are ICAO Annex 14 compliant.
• The stand identification signs use a single-column horizontal structure: the front frame is held by spring latches and opens on built-in gas struts, so maintenance needs no tools. The same design was later used for the apron adaptation works at Shanghai Pudong.
• Supplying since 2010: the guidance signs at Seletar, the LED inset taxiway lights and guidance signs at Changi — one supplier throughout.
