The flange is the pavement fixing point for an elevated fixture, with the frangible coupling carrying the light above it; it mounts on an isolation transformer box or is anchored directly to the pavement. It comes in 8-inch and 12-inch sizes to suit the fixture: 8 inches is the smallest of the standard mounting diameters, while the 12-inch flange is used mainly for the elevated approach light range, though other elevated fixtures fit it too, and its wider bearing face spreads the side loads from a taller fixture. On impact the break occurs at the coupling above, leaving the flange and its anchorage in the pavement intact, so only the parts above it are replaced.

A base cover plate closes a light position that is left vacant for the time being, capping the top of the base; its bolt pattern matches that of a fixture of the same size, so when the position is brought into service the plate comes off and the light goes straight on, with no work on the base or the pavement. It is made forged or cast, in 8-inch and 12-inch sizes to match the base. The plate and its seating are precision machined, so it beds down flush with no lifted edge: a snowplow blade passes over it without catching and water does not stand in the joint. The body is loaded evenly and carries traffic across the empty position, and the anti-corrosion treatment means it still lifts off for a fixture after long service in the pavement.

A 12-inch to 8-inch adapter ring that sits between a 12-inch base and an 8-inch in-pavement fixture, letting the smaller light be mounted in the larger base. The forged, close-grained body is designed to equal strength and loads evenly, so wheel loads pass through it to the base without distortion, and its alloy conducts heat well, carrying warmth from the fixture into the base and the pavement. Stainless inserts in the screw holes survive repeated removal, so a stripped thread never costs the whole ring.

A shallow base is set into the pavement structure to carry an in-pavement fixture, in 8-inch and 12-inch sizes; the 12-inch base also takes an 8-inch fixture through the standard 12-to-8 adapter ring, so one anchorage serves both sizes. The extruded aluminum body uses an equal-strength section with internal ribs and has passed the FAA loading sub-test, so aircraft wheels and snow-clearing plant crossing the rim do not distort it; cable can enter from the bottom or the side, the secondary cable comes in through a metal waterproof connector that keeps the can dry, and stainless thread inserts protect the screw holes through routine removal. The same range includes 12-inch deep bases in aluminum and in stainless steel, tall enough to hold the isolation transformer and single-lamp controller beneath the light with no separate transformer pit, plus 11-inch, adjustable and cast shallow bases.

A 2-inch frangible coupling that joins an elevated fixture to its flange and forms the designed break point at pavement level. Forged aluminum alloy, heat stabilized and precision machined, gives every piece the same breaking load, so the coupling shears at a known force on impact and passes little of it to the landing gear or to the anchorage in the pavement, as required for frangibility by ICAO Doc 9157 Part 6. The aero-yellow electrostatic coating resists UV and corrosion outdoors.

An angle calibrator for elevated unidirectional fixtures, checking both the aiming angle of the beam and the level of the light; it is a field instrument for installation and maintenance crews. A light is set to its design angle against the gauge when it goes in and re-checked on routine rounds, so a deviation is measured at the light and corrected there rather than taken back to a workshop.

A turntable photometric bench for airfield lights, measuring intensity and chromaticity on site, for maintenance and test staff working to ICAO and FAA criteria. The table steps in 0.01° increments and turns 360° in both axes, so a distribution is mapped point by point rather than sampled at a few angles. The shade cover keeps ambient light out of the reading, so the bench works where the lights are. An international adaptor ring and elevated mounting take both in-pavement and elevated fixtures.

A hand-held lifting tool for 8-inch fixtures, used when installing or removing lights of that size. It takes the fixture out of its base as a unit and guides it back onto the base when the work is done, giving the lift a fixed grip point instead of prising at the rim by hand.

Airsafe frangible masts are safety support members developed for airport navigation aid installations. They can be built to order and are used to mount approach lighting, communication and navigation antennas, meteorological instruments, wind cones and similar equipment. The frangible construction carries its load with reliable stiffness and stable operation under normal conditions; when an aircraft, a vehicle or other equipment strikes it, the mast breaks and collapses as designed, which limits the secondary damage a rigid structure would do to whatever struck it and keeps the remains from standing as a rigid obstacle. It gives the airside and the related operational areas of an airport a safe, dependable way to support equipment.
