Power Supply

The series isolation transformer secures the power supply to airfield lighting circuits and provides electrical isolation between the primary and the secondary circuit. Ratings cover 10 to 300 W, with a power factor (PF) of 0.95 or better and a rated current of 6.6/6.6 A, and it supports accurate dimming; the circuit keeps running when a single lamp fails, and both grounded and ungrounded types are available. The product meets a number of industry standards, including ICAO, MH/T 6008, IEC 61823 and FAA AC requirements. The transformer body and the leads are all injection molded in TPE, giving strong insulation and water resistance; the body is square, conversion efficiency is high and the failure rate is low. It works from -55 °C to +65 °C and suits installation conditions such as suspension in a cable pit, the pit floor or the inside of an isolation transformer box, with 10 years of proven use in the field.

PLG2 & REC9 are molded elastomer waterproof connectors made specifically for airfield lighting systems, for the electrical joint between the airfield primary cable and the primary side of an isolation transformer. Their one-piece construction cuts the number of steps and makes installation quick, which suits maintenance carried out without suspending flight operations, fast reconnection after a fault and emergency repair, and markedly raises the efficiency of airport maintenance. A crimped metal conductor is built into the tail of the lead, so cable can be joined quickly in the field as outdoor airport work requires; waterproof insulating tape and heat-shrink tubing are supplied as standard and a locking device is optional, giving resistance to water and damp, to high and low temperature, to dust and to vibration, which meets the demanding conditions of an exposed airfield, alternating temperatures and equipment under continuous vibration. The product is certified by the CAAC and meets FAA standard requirements.

The MGLC aircraft stand manoeuvring guidance light controller manages the operating state of the stand manoeuvring guidance lights, providing the control behind the lighting cues used as an aircraft enters a stand, as it is pushed back, and in the ground handling area. The product organizes lighting control around stand operations; the control logic, the number of fixtures, the power supply arrangement and the system interfaces are set by the project configuration.

PLG4 & REC11 are tool-free secondary connectors developed for the output side of fixtures and isolation transformers, and they install easily. Silicone grease inside the connector lubricates the joint and eases assembly, and the connectors are safe and reliable in use; they are in service on airport projects worldwide, with more than 10 years of accumulated service. The product is certified by the CAAC and meets the relevant standards of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

PLG6 and REC7 are one-piece molded elastomer waterproof connectors, used mainly for the electrical connection between the airfield lighting secondary cable and the secondary side of an isolation transformer. The one-piece design simplifies assembly on site, and the waterproof heat-shrink wiring method is quick and easy to work with, which suits emergency repair of airport equipment as well as routine maintenance. The product is certified by the CAAC and meets the certification requirements of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

PLG13 & REC14-R resin-filled connectors are developed for demanding construction sites and are a highly reliable, highly secure solution for primary cable joints in the industry. A multi-layer waterproof structure gives them strong insulation performance; once the resin inside has cured it forms a permanent, dependable bond in which connector and cable become one piece, so the connection cannot be taken apart. The product is certified by the CAAC and also meets the relevant standards of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
