On December 26, 2025, Jiaxing Nanhu Airport, the first specialized air cargo hub in the Yangtze River Delta region and the second in the nation, officially commenced operations.
Project Overview
Jiaxing Nanhu Airport is a 4E-grade military-civil dual-use transport airport with a runway length of 3,400 meters. This project is a key part of Zhejiang Province’s “Ten Landmark Projects” initiative to build a world-class port and establish itself as a transportation powerhouse. As the first specialized air cargo hub and feeder passenger airport in the Yangtze River Delta and the second in the country, it is positioned to serve “both passenger and cargo operations, with a focus on cargo,” supporting the development of regional air logistics and passenger transport networks.
Airsafe Supports Nanhu Airport’s AGL Project
Airsafe provided advanced visual navigation equipment for this project, including:
· 2 sets of LED Precision Approach Path Indicator Systems (PAPIs)
· 2 sets of LED Sequential Flashing Light Systems
· Over 2,400 LED lights for runways and taxiways
