Control and Monitoring Systems

A control and monitoring system for airfield ground lighting: it brings constant current regulators, UPS and the state of every individual lamp onto one console, pinning a failure to the fixture that caused it. The design is dual-redundant, so no single point of failure takes the monitoring down; a high-speed Ethernet architecture polls every device at once while still speaking to legacy field buses, so a retrofit keeps its existing gear. Switching commands carry a spoken second confirmation, so a mis-press never reaches the runway.

Built on the I-ALCMS architecture, this single-lamp control and monitoring system reads the state and faults of every fixture individually and switches each one on its own, serving as a stop bar, runway clearance light or follow-the-green taxi guidance system. Field communication rides power line carrier over the existing lighting circuit, so no extra cabling is laid, and it works with regulators and isolating transformers of any brand. The carrier is frequency-divided across 11 bands, keeping response quick and interference out.
