Zero Water LED Approach Centerline and Crossbar Light (12-inch 6mm)

A 12-inch unidirectional in-pavement fixture designed specifically for precision approach lighting systems, usable as an approach centerline light or as a crossbar light, giving aircraft clear, dependable visual guidance during approach and landing at night and in low visibility. Used as an approach centerline light, the fixtures are set along the extended runway centerline and indicate the direction of the runway center with a continuous, conspicuous light signal, helping pilots establish and hold the approach path accurately. Used as a crossbar light, the fixtures are set perpendicular to the approach centerline and form a distinct lateral light marking that gives pilots a direct position and distance reference, helps them judge where the aircraft is relative to the runway centerline and the runway threshold, and improves visual recognition during the approach. The fixture uses a unidirectional light distribution, and its photometric performance meets the relevant requirements of ICAO Annex 14, Volume I, providing steady, clear and readily identifiable light guidance throughout the precision approach; it is used in airport runway approach lighting systems.
