Aircraft stand manoeuvring guidance stop lights are used in the aircraft stand manoeuvring area, giving conspicuous boundary or directional guidance for aircraft entering the stand, for pushback and for ground handling work. The lights help pilots and ground crew make out the limits of the stand manoeuvring area and its key positions, improving what crews can see on the apron at night and in low visibility.
