Sequenced Flashing Light Systems

An LED sequenced flashing light system, elevated or inset, for CAT I, II and III approach lighting; the fixtures fire from the outer end toward the threshold, drawing the approach direction as a moving band of light. Unit control sits inside each fixture, so no separate cabinet is needed, with fewer terminations to inspect. Against xenon flashers, LED units draw less power at a higher power factor, easing load and disturbance on the supply circuit, while an integrated constant-current driver holds flash intensity steady.

A white sequenced flashing light system, elevated or inset, set along the approach lighting centerline: the fixtures fire from the outer end toward the threshold, so the inbound course reads as a band of light rolling toward the runway. Low-voltage flashtubes keep the system at a modest working voltage, which limits electrical risk during servicing; self-aligning optics let a flashtube or lens be replaced without re-aiming. Each fixture has its own control cabinet with an independent CPU, so one failure cannot stop the system.
