PLG13 & REC14-R resin-filled connectors are developed for demanding construction sites and are a highly reliable, highly secure solution for primary cable joints in the industry. A multi-layer waterproof structure gives them strong insulation performance; once the resin inside has cured it forms a permanent, dependable bond in which connector and cable become one piece, so the connection cannot be taken apart. The product is certified by the CAAC and also meets the relevant standards of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Application/Use
The PLG13-R (Style 13) plug and the REC14-R (Style 14) receptacle are used as a pair for primary cable connections at an airport; the versions with an earthing lead are ordered as PLG13-R-E and REC14-R-E.
