PLG6 and REC7 are one-piece molded elastomer waterproof connectors, used mainly for the electrical connection between the airfield lighting secondary cable and the secondary side of an isolation transformer. The one-piece design simplifies assembly on site, and the waterproof heat-shrink wiring method is quick and easy to work with, which suits emergency repair of airport equipment as well as routine maintenance. The product is certified by the CAAC and meets the certification requirements of the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
Application/Use
The PLG6 (Style 6) plug and the REC7 (Style 7) receptacle are used as a pair for secondary cable connections at an airport; the PLG6 also mates with the REC8 (Style 8).
