LED Elevated Stop Bar Light (EL Series)

Stop bar and no-entry bar lights serve the taxiway stop bar system. They are set in a row across the holding position to give aircraft an explicit stop signal. The red light works together with ground control procedures to tell aircraft not to cross the stop line, and helps keep traffic in order at runway entrances and intersections. The fixture uses an LED light source and a light distribution designed for the application; its photometric performance is aligned with the requirements of the corresponding airfield lighting system, giving airport operations a steady, clear and easily identified visual signal.

• The dimming curve complies with the requirements of FAA EB67, and the dimming characteristics of the luminaire are similar to those of traditional halogen light source luminaires.
• The integrated surge protection device features high surge withstand capability, compliant with FAA EB67. It has successfully undergone 1.2/50μs - 8/20μs combination wave testing per ANSI/IEEE C62.41, withstanding 10kV peak open-circuit voltage and 5kA peak short-circuit current surges.
• The overall degrees of protection is IP67.
• Optional fault detection function, which can achieve light fault open circuit in case of light source or drive failure.
