Power Circuit Reliability
From potted connectors and sealed transformers to sine-wave regulation and insulation monitoring — measurable reliability for the buried series circuit.
Solution overview
The series power circuit lies buried under the pavement — the least accessible part of the whole lighting system. Moisture in primary cable joints, failed transformer seals and slow insulation decay give no warning day to day, then surface at the worst possible moment: low-visibility night operations. Locating the fault often means excavation.
The solution works from both ends: potted assembled cable connectors (PLG13-R / REC14-R) and IP68 fully sealed isolation transformers keep moisture out of the circuit; the CCR-I sine-wave constant current regulator delivers a low-harmonic, high-power-factor waveform that reduces electrical stress on fixtures and transformers at the source, with nine ratings from 1 to 30 kVA; circuit insulation monitoring turns insulation condition into a measurable, trackable quantity, moving maintenance from reactive repair to condition-based planning.
- Potted assembled cable connectors (PLG13-R / REC14-R)
- IP68 fully sealed isolation transformers
- CCR-I sine-wave regulators (1–30 kVA)
- Insulation resistance detection unit (CCR-I option)
CCR-I obtained the CAAC civil-airport equipment notice in 2021 and complies with MH/T 6010-2017, IEC 61822-2009 and FAA AC 150/5345-10H.
